The Irish team added a third trophy to their prize list in the Nations Cup of the CSIOP of Fontainebleau. A the first rank after the first round, France did not manage to keep its advantage (8 points) in the second round. Due to this lack of luck, the French team moved back to 2^nd position, ex aequo with Germany and Sweden. Ireland, thanks to three clear rounds, produced a total clear second round and finished on her original score (8 points). It was the first time that the four Irish boys was participating to a Nations Cup! Under Ian Fearon's supervision, Irish riders totalize 7 victories in the show for now.
